Fox and I went to Amicalola Falls over the weekend of April 29th to May 1st.

We stayed at the main Amicalola Lodge:

The room:

We took a left and walked over the base of the falls and then walked all the way to the visitor center.

We stop and take a look at an AT shelter.   The start of the walkup trail is in the park. 

We took the East Ridge trail back from the visitor center to the Lodge.

We take a rest near the top of the East Ridge trail:

During a quick solo hike Sunday AM this bird swooped at me and then landed.
It had  about a 3 to 4 foot wingspan.
The only camera I had was my cell phone.
